E-mobility machines for manufacturing hairpins, axial flux coils and busbars, as well as the STMB 44 barbed wire machine for manufacturing barbed wire products, will also be available to see digitally. The BM 43 HS offers the ultimate in dynamics with the familiar level of reliability. The machine provides maximum flexibility and combines the following options in one modular concept: servomotor-displaceable feed unit, rotary straightening and displaceable cutting unit. The servomotor-displaceable feed unit increases straightening quality and process reliability. Rotary straightening improves consistency in straightening quality while also having a positive impact on deformation of the bent part during heat treatment. Spring steel wire is therefore one major application area.
The highly dynamic drives and the iQsmartbend function enable unit costs to be optimized across the entire parts spectrum. The software optimizes all bending programs on the basis of a digital twin, allowing an output increase of up to 40 percent to be achieved compared to the previous model, and all at maximum parts quality.
The market has had to wait a long time for a successor to the STM 32. The new STMB 44 barbed wire machine is now available and grabs the attention with its simple operation and increased output rate. The STMB 44 features a modern design and advanced drive technology with five servomotors. The servomotor-driven barbed wire machine is currently a one-of-a-kind with patent pending. The STMB 44 offers better energy savings through its reduced mechanical systems, making it more economical than its predecessor. The innovative technology improves the wire twisting of the strands and the alignment of the barbed body. Each of these can be programmed in a user-friendly way. The machine also offers a smooth coiling process, meaning consumers can unwind the barbed wire in a simpler, safer way. The new type combines a high level of dynamics with speed and a powerful programming system. Thanks to the noise-insulated machine hood, the noise level is reduced to below 80 dB while operator safety is increased. The tools from the previous STM 32 machine are compatible with the new STMB 44, meaning the machines can be converted in a quick and cost-effective way.
