The latest technologies for an increased productivity and automation were presented at the Spring and Grinding Days. In the demonstration area, visitors were given individual advice and support. They were able to see a spring end grinding machine, two torsion spring machines and a wire bending machine live in action and to get familiar with their programming.
The G 450, a spring end grinding machine for wire diameters between 1 and 9 mm, was on display. It featured, for example, an infinitely adjustable cutting speed, a fully automatic dressing process as well as a laser-controlled compensation of grinding wheel wear.
The FMU 16+ and the FMU 32+ were presented for the production of springs. The two torsion spring machines can be used for processing wire diameters between 0.4 and 1.6 mm and between 0.8 and 3.2 mm. Due to a flexible machine design, the FMU series allows the production of complex spring geometries. It offers numerous options for high operating convenience. The convenient programming of geometries with digital tools enables production simulation, process optimization and collision prevention.
The wire bending machine B 36 is part of the Performance series and stands out by high flexibility and safety thanks to a reliable tool concept. The B 36 has been designed for wire diameters between 2 and 6.5 mm.
